These Terms of Service govern your use of the Skyways Int'l Shipping and Logistics Ltd. website, customer app, and shipping and logistics services. By accessing our website or booking a shipment with us, you agree to these terms.
- Acceptance of Terms: By using our website, creating an account, requesting a quote, or placing a booking, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or services.
- Services: Skyways Int'l Shipping and Logistics Ltd. provides global shipping and logistics solutions, including:
- Freight: Air cargo, sea freight, express shipping, consolidation, and export services, including routes between China and Nigeria and exports from Nigeria to the UK, USA, and Canada.
- Trade support: Sourcing and procurement, product branding and customization, warehousing, and facilitation of payments to Chinese suppliers in RMB.
- Digital tools: Website and customer-app features such as shipment tracking, booking, and account management.
- Customer Responsibilities: You are responsible for the following:
- Accurate information: Providing complete and accurate shipper, consignee, cargo, and customs information for every shipment.
- Packaging and goods: Packing goods suitably for international transport and ensuring they are lawful to ship. Prohibited, restricted, or undeclared dangerous goods may be refused, delayed, or returned at your cost.
- Authority: Confirming that you have authority to ship the goods and to instruct us on their handling, clearance, and delivery.
- Quotes, Bookings, and Payment: Quotes are estimates based on the details you provide and may change if cargo details, rates, or charges differ. Bookings are confirmed when we accept your instruction and applicable charges are agreed. You are responsible for freight, duties, taxes, storage, and other charges related to your shipment, including those arising from customs inspection, incorrect documentation, or delayed collection.
- Customs, Warehousing, and Tracking: We coordinate documentation, customs clearance, warehousing, and tracking as part of our services. Customs authorities may inspect, delay, or seize cargo. Tracking information is provided for visibility and may depend on carriers and agents. RMB supplier payments are a logistics facilitation service and do not make us your bank or the supplier’s guarantor.
- Limitation of Liability and Insurance: Our liability for loss or damage to cargo is limited in accordance with applicable international conventions, carrier terms, and any written agreement with you. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or delay-related losses except where the law does not allow that exclusion. Cargo is carried at your risk unless you arrange adequate insurance. You should obtain insurance for the full value of your goods.
- Accounts: You must keep your account details confidential and notify us of unauthorized use. We may suspend or close an account that is used unlawfully, in breach of these terms, or in a way that risks our operations or other customers.
- Changes and Governing Law: Skyways Int'l Shipping and Logistics Ltd. may update these Terms of Service by posting the revised terms on our website. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
